Smoked Asparagus with Herbs, Spices: Healthy Vegetable Side Dish

Trim woody ends of asparagus. Remove tough parts where green transitions to white.

Cut

Place asparagus in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning mix. Toss to coat.

Seasoning

Place seasoned asparagus directly on the preheated grill. Smoke for 45 minutes or more based on thickness.

Remove smoked asparagus from the grill. Optional: sprinkle with parmesan before serving.
