Smoked Pulled Pork Sliders

  • 2-3 pounds pulled pork (leftover or recipe below)
  • 12 or more slider buns or rolls
  • 1-2 cups barbecue sauce
  • 1-2 cups coleslaw
  • 12 slices cheese (cheddar, pepper jack, etc.) optional
  • 12 slices bacon, optional

Pork Rub

  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • ½-1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons cumin

Pulled Pork

  • 1 whole 8-12-pound pork butt, bone-in and skinless (or pork shoulder)
  • Salt as needed
